Spa Etiquettes
In order to fully enjoy the benefits of treatments in Baliayu Spa Sanctuary, the following etiquette rules are there for your kind attention:
RESERVATIONS
Because our spa services are very popular, we recommend that you make your reservations for your appointments prior to your arrival at Baliayu Spa Sanctuary. All spa services are subject to availability. You can make reservations via phone, on-line or visiting our spa.
LATE ARRIVAL POLICY
Please arrive at the spa reception 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. This gives you ample time to check in and prepare for your treatment without any reduced treatment time. Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on time so that the next guest is not delayed.
CONFIRMATION VIA ON-LINE BOOKING
Appointments made via Baliayu Spa’s website will be confirmed within 24 hours of submission. Your booking is only confirmed after you receive an e-mail or phone call from Baliayu Spa. We recommend that you call us to check if you haven’t received any confirmation.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Please give 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule your appointment. We regret that any cancellation with less than 4 hours notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Full charges apply in case of a missed appointment with no advance notice. You must speak directly with a Baliayu Spa staff member when cancelling an appointment.
PAYMENT
Cash and all major credit cards are accepted at the spa. All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit and are subject to prevailing government taxes. Prices are correct at the time of publishing and subject to change without prior notice. We are sorry, but we are unable to accept personal checks for spa services.
SPECIAL NEEDS
Your health and comfort are important to us. Please let us know if you have any specific concerns, needs or questions. If you have any skin sensitivities, allergies, or medical conditions, please let us know when making your appointments and once again when you are introduced to your spa therapist.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS
Guests who have high blood pressure, heart conditions, allergies, are pregnant or have any other medical complications are advised to consult their doctor before signing up for any spa services. Please inform your spa therapist of any medical condition prior to the treatment.
MINIMUM AGE
To maintain a peaceful atmosphere, children under 12 years of age are not permitted in the spa.
ETIQUETTE
We respectfully request all guests to help us maintain the peaceful serenity of spa by keeping noise to a minimum. Cellular phones and electronic devices are discouraged. Pets are not permitted at the spa. Please refrain from taking photographs at the spa.
AMENITIES
Toiletries along with disposable underwear, robe and slippers are provided for guests’ convenience.
SPA TREATMENT HOURS
Baliayu Spa is open from 10am to 10pm daily ( including weekend and public holidays). Last reservation/booking for the day is at 8.30pm
SMOKING AND ALCOHOL
Smoking and consumption of alcohol are prohibited within the spa premises. Guests should avoid the consumption of alcohol before any spa treatment.
PERSONAL POSSESSIONS
We regret that we cannot be responsible for the loss or damage to personal articles, including clothing or accessories. It would be best not to bring or wear jewelry, or any other items of value, as we ask you to remove them for your treatment. The management accepts no responsibility for any loss, theft or damage of valuables of any kind brought into the spa premises.
GIFT CERTIFICATES/VOUCHERS
Gift certificates / vouchers are available for purchase at the spa. All gift certificates / vouchers are valid for 3 months only. Please approach the spa reception for more information.
REFUND POLICY
All purchases are non-refundable.
IMPORTANT:
Baliayu Spa Sanctuary is a day spa for both men and female. Couple room will be provided for couple spa or couple massage!
In case of rude infringement of our etiquette, Baliayu Spa has the right to refuse a client in services.
Please DO NOT solicit work directly from our Spa therapist(s).
We have a non-compete agreement in place, which prevents Spa therapist(s) legally from working with you directly. Our Spa therapist(s) are specifically instructed to decline any such offers.
Our Spa therapist(s) will refuse a treatment if any of the following apply:
Any medical conditions that were not mentioned at time of reservation.
Observation of broken skin, skin rashes or lesions.
Observation of lewd or inappropriate behavior, and/or intoxication.
